MAN JAILED FOR COERCIVE AND CONTROLLING BEHAVIOUR

Tyler Wilkey, aged 32 and from Barnstaple, received a prison sentence of two years and two months during a hearing at Exeter Crown Court on 28 May.

Additionally, a restraining order prohibiting contact with the victim was imposed for a period of fourteen years.

During the court proceedings, it was revealed that the victim lived in ongoing fear of Wilkey, who exhibited threatening behavior, including threats to cause harm to her and her family.
