PAEDOPHILE HUNTERS CATCH FACEBOOK PREDATOR FROM ASHFORD WHO OFFERED ‘GIRL’, 14, CASH FOR PICTURES
Tyler Donovan from Eggringe, Ashford, was identified by paedophile hunters after believing he was communicating with a 14-year-old girl via Facebook Messenger.
The 23-year-old made inappropriate remarks, offered money in exchange for pictures and videos, and attempted to call the supposed minor.
His messages, exchanged between March 12 and April 18 of the previous year, included false claims about his age and requests for explicit images.
Authorities detained him at his workplace located at the Sevington Inland Border Facility.
Donovan admitted to trying to engage in sexual communication with a child and was sentenced at Folkestone Magistrates’ Court to an 18-month community order, a five-year Sexual Harm Prevention Order, and additional sanctions.
He has a previously clean record and has been on the sex offenders’ register since his initial court hearing.
