MAN GIVEN LONG JAIL SENTENCE FOLLOWING RAPE AND ASSAULT
A man from Swansea has received a longer prison term after being convicted of multiple sexual offences.Tristan Williams, aged 22 and residing in Swansea city centre, initially denied all charges but was ultimately convicted of two counts of rape, one count of assault by beating, and voyeurism for recording a sexual act without the victim’s consent.
The incidents occurred on September 11, 2025.
Because he committed these offences while in breach of a previous 12-month community order issued on June 5, 2025, his sentence was extended.
He is also subject to a restraining order against the victim and must register with the police indefinitely under the Sexual Offences Act 2003.
