TREVOR WRIGHT, GARAGE OWNER IN SUDBURY, SENTENCED TO 19 YEARS FOR HISTORICAL SEXUAL OFFENCES

A garage proprietor in Sudbury has been sentenced to 19 years in prison following convictions for historical sexual offences. Trevor Wright, aged 67, was found guilty of multiple charges of rape and sexual assault involving schoolgirls during the late 1970s and 1980s. The presiding judge also ordered him to be registered on the sex offenders register indefinitely. Wright has admitted to being 'sex obsessed' but has denied involvement in the assaults, which reportedly occurred at various locations including his garage and stables.
