TONY FRAINE JAILED IN LEICESTER FOR SEXUAL OFFENSES INVOLVING SCHOOLGIRL
On October 2nd, a man from Leicester was sentenced to prison for engaging in unlawful sexual activities with a minor girl.The individual, identified as 37-year-old Tony Fraine, was handed a 24-month custodial sentence after appearing before Leicester Crown Court to face the charges.
Fraine’s criminal conduct took place between October and November of the previous year.
The charges against him included one count of abuse of a position of trust by engaging in sexual activity with a girl aged between 13 and 17, as well as another count of abuse of trust by inciting or causing sexual activity with the same minor.
These serious allegations stemmed from an investigation that was initiated after concerns were raised by the victim’s friends.
According to reports, the victim’s friends discovered an inappropriate email on her mobile phone, which they believed was sent by Fraine.
They also observed a noticeable change in her behavior, noting that she had become more secretive and would often dim the screen light on her phone to hide her activity.
These signs prompted them to alert authorities.
The young girl later confided in police that Fraine had sent her indecent images of himself.
She also revealed that he had touched her inappropriately on several occasions.
These disclosures led to a thorough investigation conducted by officers from the Child Abuse Investigation Unit (CAIU) of the police force.
Following the investigation, Fraine was arrested and subsequently charged with the offenses.
His actions have been deemed a serious breach of trust and a grave violation of the victim’s safety and well-being.
