A man from Dunfermline has received a six-month imprisonment sentence after violating a court order that restricted him from entering Kelty. Thomas Stewart, aged 38 and living on Bruce Street, appeared at Dunfermline Sheriff Court where he admitted to breaching bail conditions on September 13. His violations included entering an address in Kelty, attempting to contact or approach his partner, and not adhering to a home curfew. Depute fiscal Azrah Yousaf stated that police found Stewart hiding in a bedroom at the woman's residence. His lawyer, Stephen Morrison, explained that Stewart was called to the location by his partner but was later reported to the police by her. Sheriff Charles Macnair remarked, “You have a bad record,” before sentencing Stewart to six months in jail. Additionally, the court imposed a non-harassment order against him for a duration of one year.
