A jury trial for Kelso resident Thomas Renwick, who faces four counts of sexual offences, has been rescheduled for March. Renwick, aged 22, was originally set to face trial this week at Selkirk Sheriff Court. He is charged with two counts of engaging in sexual activity with a teenager under 16, sexually assaulting a child under 13, and communicating indecently with a person. Renwick has entered a plea of not guilty to all four charges. The trial is now scheduled to begin on March 22.

Regarding sentencing, it has been reported that he faces a five-year period on the sex offenders register and a two-year community payback order with supervision requirements.
