THOMAS HATTON OF PRESTON ADMITS TO POSSESSING INDECENT IMAGES OF CHILDREN

In February 2019, Thomas Nathan Hatton, who has no fixed address, pleaded guilty in Preston Crown Court to possessing indecent images of children being sexually abused.

The 26-year-old defendant confessed to owning 54 images classified as Category A, which are considered the most serious under law, with the images dating from September 2014 to March 2017.

He also admitted to possessing 44 images classified as Category B within the same period.

Additionally, Hatton pleaded guilty to possessing 486 images categorized as Category C.

Furthermore, he confessed to having made and downloaded two pseudo images categorized as Category A during the same timeframe.

Hatton is scheduled to appear before Preston Crown Court again on February 25.
