Bangor Child Sexual Abuser
A man named Terrance Lloyd has been convicted and sentenced for sexually assaulting a teenage girl after following her to her home in Bangor. The incident occurred in July 2023, where Lloyd approached a 13-year-old girl, followed her to her residence, and then proceeded to slap her on the bottom. Despite the girl telling him to stop and informing him of her age, Lloyd continued to ask for her phone number. The Llandudno magistrates heard that Lloyd, who is without a fixed residence, was found guilty of these actions and received a sentence of 44 weeks in prison. Additionally, he is required to register with the police for seven years. PC Amie of North Wales Police, who handled the case, remarked: "The victim in this case was incredibly brave to come forward and report what had happened to her." She added, "We are committed to pursuing violence against women and girls and will fully investigate any report we receive." She also urged anyone experiencing violence to come forward, assuring support and listening to victims.
