Mintlaw Sexual Abuser
A highly dangerous sex offender from the north-east of Scotland, Taylor Lamb, aged 21, faces the grim reality of potentially never being released from prison due to the severe threat he poses to public safety. Lamb's criminal activities span several years and involve multiple victims, leading to a conviction that has resulted in a lifelong restriction order.

His crimes came to light during a high-profile trial held at the High Court in Aberdeen, where Lamb was found guilty of numerous sexual offences involving minors. The court heard disturbing details about his past, including an incident from 2017 when he was just 14 years old. During that year, Lamb raped a 12-year-old girl at a property in Aberdeen, an act that marked the beginning of his pattern of predatory behavior.

Further allegations revealed that Lamb sexually assaulted a 15-year-old girl in a woodland area near Mintlaw in May 2021. The court also convicted him of engaging in a sexual act with a 13-year-old girl in June 2021, adding to the list of his disturbing offenses. These incidents highlight a troubling trajectory of sexual misconduct involving minors, which has caused significant concern among the community and law enforcement authorities.

In addition to his sexual offenses, Lamb's criminal record includes violent acts against women. Notably, he was previously involved in an incident in Aberdeen where he punched a woman and bit her breast, demonstrating a pattern of violent and aggressive behavior.

Judge Olga Pasportnikov, presiding over the case, sentenced Lamb to a lifelong restriction order. This order effectively means that Lamb will remain incarcerated indefinitely unless the parole board determines he is no longer a threat to society. The judge emphasized her primary duty to safeguard the public, stating that only a lifelong restriction order was appropriate given the severity of Lamb’s offences and the ongoing danger he presents.

Furthermore, Lamb was ordered to register as a sex offender for life, ensuring ongoing monitoring of his activities. He was also issued a five-year non-harassment order, which prohibits him from making contact with his victims or engaging in any form of harassment. The judge’s decision underscores the seriousness with which the court views his crimes and the potential risk he continues to pose to the community in Mintlaw, Aberdeen, and beyond.
