TAMMY FULLER'S SHOCKING CRIME IN MARGATE: VICTIMIZED 10-YEAR-OLD ESCAPES JAIL

In August 2005, a distressing case unfolded involving a woman named Tammy Fuller, whose actions left a lasting impact on a young boy from Margate.

Fuller, aged 23 at the time, was convicted of indecent assault against a 10-year-old boy, an incident that spanned over a four-month period while the child's mother was at work.

Despite the severity of her actions, Fuller was not sentenced to prison but was instead handed a three-year community rehabilitation order and was required to register as a sex offender for five years.

Her sentencing took place at Hove Crown Court, where Judge David Rennie emphasized restrictions on her contact with minors, specifically ordering her to avoid any interaction with children under the age of 16.

The court's decision sparked outrage and deep concern among the victim's family, especially the mother, who chose to remain anonymous for legal reasons.

She publicly expressed her profound disappointment and anger at what she perceives as a lenient punishment.

In her emotional reaction, the mother criticized the judge's decision, stating, "If she was a man, it would have been totally different." She highlighted the rarity and shock of female perpetrators of such crimes, asserting, "People just cannot believe there are women paedophiles.

But it does happen." She questioned the court's reasoning, pointing out that Fuller was deemed vulnerable, yet her young victim was not considered similarly vulnerable when Fuller entered his bedroom and assaulted him.

"She stole his innocence," the mother lamented.

The mother recounted her son's distress and the impact of the assault on his mental health.

She revealed that her son, now 13, had become increasingly withdrawn, and she initially attributed his behavior to the emotional strain caused by his father's illness and impending death.

Fuller had warned the boy not to tell anyone about what was happening, threatening to "get him back" if he disclosed the abuse.

The mother described a chilling incident where her son woke up to Fuller on top of him, pleading with her to stop while telling her to be quiet, emphasizing the secret she had forced him to keep.

It was only in 2003 that the boy finally found the courage to speak out, expressing remorse for causing his mother pain and revealing the abuse to prevent Fuller from harming anyone else.

His mother, who has since remarried, expressed her ongoing concern that Fuller has not faced more severe consequences, noting that her life has changed little since her conviction, apart from Fuller being required to attend weekly counseling sessions.

The mother remains deeply worried, stating, "Her life is no different to how it was before she was convicted, except that she has to go to counselling once a week.

My son is convinced she will come back again.

It is disgusting." Fuller, who has relocated to Margate in Kent with her partner, was convicted of the indecent assault that took place during her visits to the victim's home.

The court's decision to release her under supervision, rather than impose a custodial sentence, has left the family feeling betrayed and fearful for the child's safety.

The case continues to evoke strong emotions and raises questions about the adequacy of sentencing for such heinous crimes involving female offenders.
