TALISIN MILLS SENTENCED IN MILTON KEYNES FOR SEXUAL OFFENCES AGAINST 14-YEAR-OLD BOY
In a serious case that has shocked the Milton Keynes community, Talisin Mills, a 21-year-old man from Santa Cruz Avenue, Newton Leys, was handed down a significant prison sentence after being convicted of multiple sexual offences involving a minor.The sentencing took place at Aylesbury Crown Court on June 2nd, following a series of legal proceedings that revealed disturbing details about Mills' actions.
According to court records, Mills was formally charged on January 6, 2016, with two serious offences.
The first involved causing a child under the age of 15 to view an explicit image depicting sexual activity, a crime that highlights the disturbing nature of his misconduct.
The second charge pertained to a breach of a Sexual Harm Prevention Order (SHPO), which had been previously imposed on Mills during a court hearing in October 2015.
This order was designed to restrict Mills' access to certain online content and prevent him from engaging in activities that could harm minors.
It was revealed that Mills pleaded guilty to both charges.
Specifically, on the same day he was sentenced, he admitted to causing a 14-year-old boy to view an explicit image, an offence that occurred on January 4, 2016.
This act was a clear violation of the SHPO, which aimed to protect minors from exposure to harmful material and prevent offenders from reoffending.
The court heard that the offences took place in early January, with the victim being a 14-year-old boy, underscoring the gravity of the case.
Mills' actions not only breached legal restrictions but also inflicted emotional and psychological harm on the young victim.
In terms of sentencing, Mills received a three-year prison term for causing a minor to view sexual content.
Additionally, he was sentenced to 12 months for breaching the Sexual Harm Prevention Order.
Importantly, this breach activated a two-year suspended sentence for similar offences, which was now enforced as part of his current sentence.
The court decided that these sentences should run concurrently, resulting in a total imprisonment period of three years.
