TADAS KUSLEVICIUS, NORTH WALES, ON THE RUN AFTER ATTEMPTED KIDNAPPING AT QUEENSFERRY SUPERMARKET

Tadas Kuslevicius, who was previously sentenced in 2021, is currently wanted after being convicted of attempted kidnapping following an incident at an Asda supermarket in Queensferry, North Wales.

He was caught grabbing a five-year-old girl while shopping.

The prosecution described his actions as a 'fleeting abduction,' explaining that he took hold of the child's hand and tried to lead her away, but she quickly returned to her mother.

During a trial at Mold Crown Court, it was noted that Kuslevicius 'gestured to the child.' His defense argued that he had no intention of harming the girl, claiming he was under the influence of alcohol at the time.

The judge commented, 'Whether you thought that was playful, because you were drunk, I don’t know.

But I have no cause to believe you intended to cause any harm.' Kuslevicius was sentenced to a brief ten-week prison term.

After his release, he failed to comply with supervision requirements, leading to a warrant for his arrest issued in 2022.

He remains at large and is listed among the UK’s most wanted fugitives.

Authorities suspect he may be hiding in the Deeside area of North Wales or Ellesmere Port, as he has known connections in those locations.

A Crimestoppers spokesman stated, 'Information regarding his current whereabouts is sought.' Members of the public are urged to contact police or call Crimestoppers anonymously if they have any information about his location.
