SERIAL STALKER SENTENCED TO COMMUNITY ORDER IN FORT WILLIAM
Sylwester Kubacki has been found guilty of stalking on three separate occasions, yet he continues to claim that his conduct was innocent.Evidence presented to the court revealed that he pursued two women in Fort William; one woman was followed from bar to bar and later at her place of work, while the other was subjected to romantic advances, deceitful statements, and repeated loitering outside her workplace.
He has previously served a six-month prison sentence for a similar offense.
During a hearing at Inverness Sheriff Court, Kubacki, aged 53, pleaded guilty to two stalking charges and was ordered to complete a community payback scheme, be under supervision for 30 months, perform 250 hours of unpaid community work, and adhere to a restriction of liberty with an electronically monitored curfew.
Additionally, non-harassment orders were issued against him.
The sheriff described his behavior as “sinister, sustained and distressing,” highlighting that his actions demonstrate a lack of understanding of acceptable behavior, despite his claims of being a kind person.
