EXETER MAN STUART BRADING ADMITS TO DISTRIBUTING CHILD IMAGES AND DOWNLOADING ILLEGAL MATERIALS
In a case that has sent shockwaves through the community of Exeter, Stuart Brading, a 54-year-old resident of Avalon Close, has pleaded guilty to serious charges related to the possession and distribution of child abuse images.The proceedings took place in June 2016, revealing disturbing details about Brading's activities involving illegal online content.
Brading admitted to distributing an indecent photograph of a child on May 5, 2015.
The image in question was classified as Category C, indicating it was among the least severe in terms of explicitness, yet its distribution remains a criminal offense.
This act was part of a broader pattern of offending that included the creation and possession of numerous illicit images.
Further investigations uncovered that Brading had made a total of 26 still images and ten moving images of children in June 2013.
These images were categorized into different levels of severity, with five stills and three videos falling under Category A, the highest classification, which signifies that they depicted serious sexual abuse.
The existence of such material underscores the gravity of the offenses committed.
Judge Graham Cottle presided over the case and, after hearing the evidence, decided to adjourn proceedings to obtain further reports.
