May 2017 Naturist banned over child abuse images A Naturist has been banned from future nudist events after he admitted having child abuse images on his computer. Stewart Brophy, 63, of Eastern Avenue, Southend, downloaded 40 category A images, 33 category B images and 82 category C images. The offences all took place between April 2015 and June last year. Brophy appeared at Southend Magistrates’ Court and will be sentenced at Basildon Crown Court on June 5. In the meantime, he was released on bail on condition he does not attend any naturist events where children are present. Magistrates warned him that if children are present he must leave.
