Update: Now living in the Durham area Update: Now living in Galsworthy Road, South Shields September 2013 Pervert admits abuse A man has been banned from being left alone with young girls after he admitted sexually abusing a 10-year-old girl.  Steven Gullon, of Jarrow, admitted 18 counts of indecency with a child under 14 over a four-year period.  Newcastle Crown Court heard how the girl kept quiet about the abuse for many years, but decided to report it after becoming concerned he may abuse others.  In a victim impact statement she described how he had “robbed her of her childhood”.  Gullon was given a three-year community order, which if he breaches will see him jailed for 18 months. He is also banned from being on his own with girls under 16 and is placed on the sex offender register for five years.
