STEVE ASHBURY FROM GRANTHAM SENTENCED FOR ABUSE IN WORCESTERSHIRE
In August 2019, a man named Steven Ashbury was sentenced to six years in prison after admitting to the sexual abuse of two underage girls during the late 1980s.
The offences, which spanned from July 15, 1988, to July 14, 1989, took place in Worcestershire, but Ashbury, who was previously residing in Worcestershire and is now living on Dysart Road in Grantham, appeared before Worcester Crown Court to face the charges.
During the court proceedings on Monday, August 19, Ashbury pleaded guilty to eight counts of indecent assault involving a girl under the age of 14, as well as five counts of inciting another girl under 14 to engage in acts of gross indecency.
The court was presented with detailed statements from the victims, which painted a disturbing picture of the abuse they endured.
