Description A man who subjected a girl to repeated sexual abuse over the course of a year has been jailed. Steve Adams started to abuse the girl in January 2019 before she was able to disclose the offences.  The 67-year-old from Marine Parade, Sheerness was arrested and later charged with sexual assaults. He denied the allegations but a jury at Maidstone Crown Court found him guilty and on Thursday 29 August 2024 at the same court was jailed for a total of 13 years.
