June 2007 Man’s voyeurism  Ashford man Stephen Rumens, 37, of Newenden Close, Stanhope, has been given a three-year community order after admitting a charge of voyeurism. He appeared at Ashford Magistrates’ Court on Monday. Rumens, who served a prison sentence in 1996 for indecently assaulting young girls, was also made to pay £150 compensation and £43 court costs and will have to take part in a sex offender group programme. He will be on the sex offenders’ register for five years.
