2009: MAN JAILED FOR SICKENING SEX ATTACKS
A man aged 43 from Dudley has received a five-year prison term after committing multiple disturbing sexual assaults on a schoolboy.Stephen Jakeman, residing on Hillside Road, pleaded guilty to six counts of engaging in sexual activities with a minor.
Additionally, he was ordered to register as a sex offender for life.
The court also banned Jakeman from working with children in the future, a restriction imposed by Judge Robert Orme during the sentencing at Wolverhampton Crown Court.
In delivering his verdict, the judge emphasized the severity of the crimes, stating that only a custodial sentence was appropriate given the seriousness of the offences.
