SIMON NOAKES OF BODMIN RECEIVES SUSPENDED SENTENCE FOR CHILD INDECENCY IMAGES
A man from Bodmin, Simon Noakes, has been handed a suspended prison sentence after being found in possession, creation, and distribution of indecent images of children.
The court identified that Noakes, aged 42, had approximately 1,500 images stored on his computer, some of which contained extremely graphic content.
He was sentenced to 10 months in prison, suspended for two years.
Additionally, he was ordered to participate in an internet sex offender rehabilitation programme, and will be subject to supervision and registration requirements.
A 10-year Sexual Harm Prevention Order was also imposed, along with a £100 victim surcharge.
