September 2017 Pervert who made more than 300 indecent images of children avoids going to prison A Coventry man who admitted making hundreds of indecent images of children has escaped being jailed. Simon Peter Evans had pleaded guilty to creating a total of 333 images over a 15-month period before being sentenced at Warwick Crown Court today The images included 165 in category A – the worst kind – 63 in category B and 105 in category C, and were all made between October 31, 2015, and January 25, 2017. The 35-year-old also pleaded guilty to possessing an extreme pornographic image which portrayed a person performing a sex act with a dog. Evans, of St Michael’s Road, Ball Hill, was handed a ten-month prison sentence which was suspended for two years. He was also ordered to take part in a rehabilitation activity requirement for 60 days and ordered to sign the sex offenders’ register.
