SHUHEL MAHBOOB ALI FROM SALFORD SENTENCED IN FLORIDA FOR PLOT TO ABUSE 13-YEAR-OLD GIRL AND HER NEWBORN

Salford Eccles Sexual Abuser
In March 2014, British offender Shuhel Mahboob Ali, originally from Salford and raised in Eccles, devised a disturbing plan to have a 13-year-old girl become pregnant so he could then abuse their infant child.
Ali, then 40 years old, traveled from the UK to the United States to pursue sexual activity with what he believed was a minor girl. He communicated with an undercover FBI agent, posing as the girl’s father, and expressed his desire to have sex with the girl "as soon as the midwife left."
His intentions included bringing the girl back to Britain to "train her sexually and prepare her for a family," with a focus on building a family of only daughters. Ali shockingly detailed his twisted plans, stating, "When you start with very, very, very young, you can mould them to believe anything and do anything."
Last year, Ali responded to an online advertisement offering the fictitious underage girl for sex. He told the fake father he wanted to settle down with the girl and "breed" a family consisting solely of daughters.
Ali arrived in Sanford, Florida, in April to meet the undercover agent, bringing with him bondage tape, two face masks, condoms, cameras, and a laptop containing images of child abuse hidden within his luggage. He was arrested near Titusville by agents from the Department of Homeland Security and sheriff’s deputies.
Since his arrest, Ali has remained in a U.S. detention facility. Last week, he pleaded guilty to enticing a minor to engage in sexual activity.
Sheriff Wayne Ivey commented on the case, saying, “It is truly unimaginable that monsters exist and walk among us with the purpose of victimizing our most precious citizens.”
