SHEKH MIH FROM CHADDERTON SENTENCED FOR SEXUAL ASSAULTS ON TEENAGERS IN OLDHAM

In a recent court ruling, Shekh Miah, a 49-year-old man from Chadderton, Oldham, has been sentenced to a prison term of two years and four months after being found guilty of multiple sexual assault charges.

The conviction was handed down by Minshull Street Crown Court following a comprehensive trial where the jury determined his guilt beyond a reasonable doubt.

Shekh Miah, who resides on Epping Close in Chadderton, was accused of sexually assaulting two teenage girls during the summer of 2016.

The court proceedings revealed that Miah committed these offenses in his vehicle, taking advantage of the privacy it provided.

The court heard that he assaulted one of the victims on two separate occasions, including an incident that occurred inside his car.

Similarly, he sexually assaulted another young girl, also in his vehicle, during the same period.

The court's findings highlighted the disturbing nature of these offenses, which targeted vulnerable teenagers.

As part of his sentencing, Miah will also be required to register as a sex offender for a period of ten years, a measure intended to monitor and prevent any potential future offenses.
