MAN JAILED FOR DISTRIBUTING AN INDECENT PHOTOGRAPH OF A CHILD

Shaun Moran, aged 42 and from Trowbridge in Cardiff, has been sentenced to prison for sharing an indecent image of a child.

In March 2026, officers from MOSOVO visited Moran’s residence after receiving reports indicating his involvement in the online distribution of child sexual abuse material.

Moran admitted guilt to a single charge of sharing 1,318 indecent images and videos depicting children, with 228 identified as the most explicit.

On May 18, he was handed a six-year prison term by Cardiff Crown Court.
