SEGAERT LOCHEAD SENTENCED IN SCOTLAND FOR GROOMING AND ASSAULTS ON 13-YEAR-OLD BOY

A 69-year-old man who engaged in sexual grooming and assaults against a vulnerable 13-year-old boy has been sentenced to seven years in prison. Segart Lochead, a former Scottish Guardsman, communicated with the boy online, pretending to be his age, and took advantage of the boy’s uncertainty about his sexuality. In addition to his prison sentence, Lochead has been ordered to register as a sex offender for life. A sexual harm prevention order was also imposed. The court emphasized his past convictions related to child offences, highlighting his criminal history.
