SEAN NOBILE BRUTALLY ATTACKS WOMAN AT DUNFERMLINE HOTEL IN SHOCKING INCIDENT
A violent assault took place at a hotel in Dunfermline, leaving a woman severely battered and injured after an encounter with her former partner.Sean Nobile, aged 26, who is currently detained at Perth Prison, was responsible for the brutal attack that occurred in a hotel bedroom, resulting in the woman suffering from extensive bruising, bleeding, and trauma.
According to court records, Nobile was in breach of his bail conditions by being in the company of the woman at the time of the incident.
He appeared before Dunfermline Sheriff Court on Monday to face sentencing, where he was sentenced to serve 21 months in prison.
The court also imposed a supervised release order lasting eight and a half months following his release, to monitor his conduct and ensure compliance with legal conditions.
The court proceedings revealed that Nobile had previously admitted to assaulting his ex-partner at the Pitbauchlie Hotel on Aberdour Road, Dunfermline, on February 3.
The details of that assault included punching her on the head, causing her to fall to the ground, grabbing her by the mouth and attempting to pry her jaws apart, throwing a bin that struck her head, and repeatedly stamping on her.
These acts of violence demonstrated a pattern of aggressive behavior and physical abuse.
Furthermore, Nobile admitted to breaching bail conditions on two separate occasions, November 29 and January 22, by repeatedly approaching or making contact with his former partner, despite restrictions meant to prevent such interactions.
The incident in question occurred after a night out in Dunfermline, during which the couple booked a room at the local hotel.
Once inside, Nobile launched a vicious attack on the woman, punching her and threatening to rip her jaw off, escalating the violence significantly.
Police were called to the scene after Nobile left the hotel premises.
When officers arrived, they found the woman bleeding and with a swollen face, indicating the severity of her injuries.
The attack shocked the local community and highlighted ongoing issues related to domestic violence and breach of bail conditions.
During the court hearing, defence solicitor Chris Sneddon acknowledged Nobile’s struggles with anger management issues and heroin addiction, which may have contributed to his violent behavior.
Despite this, Sheriff Charles MacNair handed down a sentence of 17 months and 130 days, with the sentences to run consecutively, reflecting the seriousness of the offences committed in Dunfermline.
