ACCRINGTON MAN CAUGHT BREACHING COURT ORDER BY CONTACTING EX-PARTNER
A man named Sean Lavery breached a non-molestation order by repeatedly contacting his former partner via text messages and phone calls. The unwanted contact started within two months of the order being issued, most of which related to their daughter.
On one occasion, her mother collected the child from school and observed Lavery nearby, indicating persistent violation of the order.
Lavery, age 38, from Nelson Street, Accrington, pleaded guilty to three charges of breaching the order and was remanded for the preparation of a pre-sentence report.
Magistrates heard that Lavery even got a friend to make contact on his behalf.
He was seen loitering near the woman's home, and there are plans for an application for a restraining order.
His offences date back more than 12 months but there have been no further issues recently.
