Malvern man admits child sexual communication and demand for foot pictures

A MAN repeatedly asked a child to send him pictures of her foot for his own sexual gratification, a court was told. Sean Hopkins, of The Glade, Malvern, requested the images from the girl "on numerous occasions", Worcester Magistrates' Court heard. Hopkins pleaded guilty to one charge of engaging in sexual communication with a child between July 11 to October 10 last year. The court was told the girl was under 16 and the pictures were for Hopkins' own pleasure. The 38-year-old, dressed in a shirt and trousers, spoke only to confirm his name and address. The case was adjourned for a pre-sentence report to be prepared on Hopkins. Deputy District Judge, Steven Jonas, told Hopkins: "This is a very serious charge. I'm leaving all sentencing options open." Hopkins will be sentenced at Kidderminster Magistrates' Court on July 7 at 10am.
