She expressed her distress in a victim personal statement, revealing her ongoing mental health struggles and need for professional help.
Walker was also ordered to register as a sex offender for life.
The judge described him as a self-centered individual who lacked concern for the victim and noted that the victim was truthful about his threats and statements, including him telling her he wanted to make her pregnant.
Although Walker has no previous convictions and is a father to a teenage son, the judge emphasized the severity of the crime and the harm caused.
His attorney highlighted his good family relations, indicating prison will be devastating for him.
The court’s decision reflects the importance of punishing such crimes and protecting the public from offenders.
