Predator travelled from Norwich to Bradford to sexually abuse girl

A sexual predator who travelled to Bradford from his home in Norwich to assault an underage girl after grooming her online has been jailed for six years

Sentencing Scott Healing at Bradford Crown Court, Mr Recorder Jason Pitter KC said: "The offences you committed show the dangers of what can happen in the dark recesses of the internet and the use and abuse of social media. "It also highlights the degree to which as a society children who are accessing social media platforms need some protection from predators like you." "Your offending demonstrates a troubling pattern of behaviour which is best characterised by the use of the word 'predator', because that in reality is what you are, and that's the behaviour you exhibited." Healing has been jailed for a total of 72 months and will have to register as a sex offender
