SCOTT CUNNINGHAM SENTENCED IN DUNFERMLINE FOR BREACH OF COURT ORDER
Scott Cunningham, a 29-year-old from South Street, Lochgelly, has been sentenced to additional imprisonment after violating a court order by living with his former partner in Dunfermline.
Cunningham appeared at Dunfermline Sheriff Court via video link from jail to admit to breaching a non-harassment order issued on September 8 of the previous year.
Between April 1 and June 15, Cunningham was repeatedly found in the company of his former partner at Whitelaw Crescent, Dunfermline, in breach of the court order.
He is currently serving a sentence for an earlier violation of the same order.
Previously, Cunningham was jailed for five months on July 29 for another breach.
The court had issued the two-year non-harassment order in August of the previous year.
Sheriff Alison Michie commented on the case, stating, "This was a second breach of the order and the social work report makes very poor reading.
There’s been little engagement with social work in the past." As a result, Cunningham was sentenced to four and a half months in jail, to be served consecutively to his existing sentence.
