SAMUEL CREED SENTENCED IN CONNECTION WITH SEXUAL OFFENCES IN STOWMARKET AND NEARBY AREAS
A sex offender, Samuel Creed, 21, was sentenced to more than two years in prison after being convicted of sexually assaulting two women.
Creed was previously convicted of a sexual assault at Stowmarket railway station in February 2020 and was subsequently issued a criminal behaviour order prohibiting him from traveling on the train network or communicating with passengers.
Despite this, he violated the order less than a year later when he approached another woman on a train between Manningtree and Colchester.
In May of the following year, Creed engaged the woman in conversation about her shoes.
Although she ignored him, he touched her shoes and squeezed her ankle, telling her, "I bet you wish you had a boyfriend like me to do this to you at night."
