KILMARNOCK: SAM REILLY ADMITS TO ABUSIVE BEHAVIOURS
A KILMARNOCK resident, Sam Reilly, 21, has admitted to a series of abusive behaviors during two relationships.
Court documents detail campaigns of abuse spanning from 2019 to 2021.
Reilly pleaded guilty to two charges related to abusive conduct towards two former partners in a hearing at Kilmarnock Sheriff Court.
The behaviors included a course of abusive actions against the first former partner from May 1, 2019, to October 31, 2020, across various locations such as the Blue Triangle Hostel, Fullarton Street, their home in MacKenzie Drive, and Lothian Road in Stewarton.
The court papers describe controlling and restricting behaviors, aggressive conduct including shouting, pushing, and threats to damage possessions.
Reilly also smeared dog feces on one victim’s arm and threw a bag containing feces at them.
The second course of abuse occurred between January 1 and July 31, 2021, at Ayrshire College, Reilly's address, and Kilmarnock Burns Shopping Centre.
During this period, he pushed a partner causing them to fall and hit their head, and also pushed another victim causing them to fall and injure their stomach.
Bail was granted, and sentencing was deferred to a later date.
