Fenham Emotional/Psychological Sexual Abuser
A young man from Fenham, identified as Sam Clarke, has been sentenced to prison after being convicted of sexually assaulting a woman while she was asleep. The incident occurred in a residential house following a social gathering, where alcohol consumption was involved.

According to court reports, the victim was unaware of the assault until she woke up to find Clarke, who was intoxicated, engaging in inappropriate conduct towards her. The court heard that Clarke was molesting her while she was unconscious, which constitutes a serious breach of personal safety and consent.

During the trial at Newcastle Crown Court, the judge described Clarke's behavior and his subsequent reactions. Clarke, 23 years old and residing on Grange Road in Fenham, attempted to justify his actions by claiming that the victim was awake and had consented to what was happening. However, this assertion was contradicted by evidence and testimony presented during the proceedings.

The court also noted that Clarke initially pretended to be confused when the victim awoke, attempting to deny any wrongdoing. Despite his claims of consent, Clarke later issued an apology, acknowledging the gravity of his actions.

Ultimately, the jury found Clarke guilty of assault by penetration, a serious criminal offense. In light of the evidence and the nature of the crime, the judge sentenced him to four and a half years in prison.

This case highlights the importance of respecting personal boundaries and the legal consequences of sexual misconduct, especially in situations where consent is compromised or unclear.
