MARKHAM DOCTOR CHARGED WITH SEXUAL ASSAULT IN SEPARATE INCIDENTS
A physician with over 30 years of practice, Saber Abdel Malouka Abdel Malak, aged 62 and residing in Whitchurch-Stouffville, has been formally charged with two counts of sexual assault related to separate incidents at a medical clinic on Markham Road in Markham.According to police reports, the first incident occurred on July 7, where the doctor is accused of touching the patient in a sexual manner during an appointment.
The patient left immediately and reported the incident to police.
The second incident allegedly took place during a previous appointment in November 2023, also at the same clinic, where the doctor’s actions were described as “similarly inappropriate,” but was not reported at the time because the patient believed it was part of a medical procedure.
Authorities have emphasized that the charges are not yet tested in court and that there is potential for other victims to come forward, given the doctor's position of trust.

Lisa Moskaluk has stated that there is no statute of limitations for reporting sexual assault under the criminal code and that sexual assault encompasses “any non consensual sexual contact.”
