April 2017 Workington teenager admits child sex offences A teenager is due to be sentenced next month after admitting two child sex crimes. Ryan Armstrong, 19, appeared at Carlisle Crown Court today During a short hearing before Judge Peter Davies, Armstrong pleaded guilty to two counts of sexual activity with a child. His offences are said to have taken place between October, 2015, and March this year. Armstrong also admitted a charge of possessing cannabis, on March 3. Judge Davies adjourned the case until May 2, when Armstrong, of Charles Close, Workington, is due to be sentenced for all matters. In the meantime Armstrong was remanded in custody.
