ROWAN MCKENNA SENTENCED FOR SEXUAL ASSAULT IN EDINBURGH
A 25-year-old man named Rowan McKenna has been formally sentenced following his conviction for a serious sexual assault that took place in Edinburgh.The incident occurred at a property located in the western part of the city during July 2023.
McKenna was found guilty of attacking a woman at this location, an assault that has left a lasting impact on the victim and the community.
On Monday, June 2, 2025, he appeared before the High Court in Edinburgh, where he received a substantial prison sentence of ten years and six months.
In addition to his imprisonment, McKenna was ordered to be placed on the Sex Offenders Register, a measure aimed at monitoring his activities and ensuring public safety.
