Bicester Child Sexual Abuser
A paedophile from Oxfordshire has been sentenced to five years in prison after pleading guilty to child sex offences. The offender, Rory Penhallow of Cedar Drive in Bicester, was involved in illicit activities revealed during an investigation by Thames Valley Police. Officers seized his phone and uncovered that between 8 March 2022 and 20 January 2023, Penhallow was engaging in sexual communications via WhatsApp and requesting indecent images, videos, and live video calls involving children in exchange for payment. He pleaded guilty to four counts of arranging or facilitating the sexual exploitation of a child under 13 and two counts of breaching a Sexual Harm Prevention Order. Penhallow was also found to have made indecent images of a child, which led to a separate sentence of six months' imprisonment, suspended for 24 months, at Oxford Crown Court on January 11. The police investigation was led by Detective Constable Rachel Edmunds, who stated that Penhallow's mobile devices, including cloud storage apps, were used in breach of his previous order. Arrested on July 2 of the same year, he was charged with arranging child exploitation and violating the order on the day of his arrest. He was sentenced at Oxford Crown Court on November 22, and Thames Valley Police emphasized their commitment to thoroughly investigating sexual offences and supporting victims. The article includes images of Penhallow and notes his arrest and conviction history, as well as police comments on his case.
