MAN JAILED FOR SEXUAL ABUSE

Ronnie Shephard, aged 66, engaged in repeated inappropriate conduct involving a teenage girl between 2004 and 2006, which included forced kissing, inappropriate touching, and pressing his body against her on multiple occasions.

During the court hearing, it was revealed that Shephard also exposed himself to the girl while he was driving her home after a concert.

His pattern of targeting the victim was often during moments when she was alone and away from friends and family.

His relentless behavior was so pervasive that the young girl began to perceive his actions as normal.

Shephard was taken into custody after the girl reported the incidents in 2016.

He admitted to engaging in sexual activity with a minor and was sentenced to 15 months in prison on April 13.

Additionally, he was placed on the sex offenders' register for a period of seven years.
