July 2016 Serial paedophile jailed after string of sexual offences against children A paedophile that sexually abused three young girls has been jailed Unemployed Ronald Bruce, 59 of Livingstone appeared at Livingstone Crown Court where he was sentenced for grooming and sexually touching three young girls The court was told that Bruce systematically groomed the girls, which culminated in Bruce molesting and touching the girls in a sexual way The victims were aged between four and 12 years old, and the abuse continued over a number of years The judge sentenced Bruce to four years & six months custodial with a three year extended sentence. He was told that he must also register as a sex offender for life Bruce was told that he would be eligible to be considered for release by the parole board in June 2018 Bruce showed no emotion as he was led away to begin his sentence
