According to court reports, the young girl was leaving a party when Horvat approached her. He initially offered her a ride, claiming he would take her to a friend’s house. However, instead of heading to her intended destination, Horvat drove past the location and parked his vehicle in a secluded car park in Margate. It was there that he forcibly engaged in sexual activity with the teenage girl.
