WAKEFIELD PAEDOPHILE ROGER SIBLEY FACES MORE JAIL TIME AFTER MAIDENHEAD SEXUAL ASSAULT REVELATION
In a disturbing development, Roger Sibley, a convicted paedophile with a history of sexual offences, is now facing additional imprisonment after admitting to the sexual assault of a seven-year-old girl in Maidenhead.Sibley, who previously resided in Wakefield, is currently incarcerated at HMP Hull, serving an eight-year sentence handed down in July 2019 for multiple serious crimes involving minors and an adult woman.
His earlier convictions include two counts of sexually assaulting girls under the age of 13, a charge of voyeurism against a woman, and the possession of indecent images.
These offences marked a significant chapter in his criminal record, which has now been further complicated by his latest admission.
The incident in question took place on February 14, 2006, in Maidenhead, a town in Berkshire.
Sibley’s involvement in this case was brought to light during a recent court hearing, where he pleaded guilty to the sexual assault of the young girl.
The case was temporarily adjourned by His Honour Judge Nawaz to allow the probation service to conduct a thorough assessment of Sibley’s potential danger to the public.
Following this assessment, a sentencing date was scheduled for Friday, March 25.

The court sentenced him to more than eight years in prison and imposed a 10-year Sexual Harm Prevention Order to restrict his contact with minors.
Just a few weeks later, on June 27, 2019, Sibley pleaded guilty to additional charges, including making indecent images of children and voyeurism.
These offences resulted in a further two-month prison sentence, adding to his already substantial term.
Throughout his criminal career, Sibley’s actions have caused significant harm and concern within the communities of Wakefield and beyond.
His latest guilty plea underscores the ongoing efforts of law enforcement and the judicial system to hold him accountable and protect potential victims from further abuse.
