Lockwood, 47, of Bridle Close appeared at St Albans Crown Court on Monday (September 29) facing five counts of making indecent images of children, one count of possessing extreme pornography, and a charge of breaching his SOPO. He pleaded guilty to all charges, which took place between May last year and January 2014.   In addition to the jail sentence, a new SOPO has been imposed and Lockwood will be added to the sex offender register for life. Perverted Roger Lockwood, 43, pleaded guilty at St Albans crown court on Monday to possessing over 9,600 sickening images and 36 movies involving abuse. Lockwood, of Bridle Close, admitted a total of 17 charges over the vile images. They include seven charges of possession of child abuse images, including category A – the most serious category – category B and category C images. He admitted another charge of possessing an image portraying sex with a dog. Lockwood also admitted viewing internet adult porn in Hoddesdon, breaching a sexual offences prevention order imposed in 2010, Stevenage Magistrates’ Court heard Carl Woolf, defending, said twisted Lockwood was of previous good character, but said he had been told that his offences “crossed the custody threshold.” Judge Stephen Warner bailed Lockwood telling him the offences he had admitted were “serious.”
