    In October 2009, a tragic case of child sexual abuse culminated in the sentencing of Roderick Frith, a 69-year-old man from Llanfairfechan, near Bangor in Gwynedd, North Wales. Frith was found guilty of multiple counts of child rape, crimes that have left a lasting impact on his victims and the community alike.

    Frith admitted to the charges during proceedings at Caernarfon Crown Court, where the severity of his actions was thoroughly examined. The presiding judge, Merfyn Hughes QC, did not hold back in describing the gravity of the offences, stating that they represented
