CHEPSTOW PAEDOPHILE ROBERT PALMER SENTENCED IN CARDIFF COURT

In April 2021, a disturbing case involving a pensioner from Chepstow culminated in a court ruling that has sent shockwaves through the local community. Robert Palmer, aged 68, a resident of Pembroke Road, Bulwark, Chepstow, was found guilty of possessing and downloading explicit images of children, a crime that has serious legal and moral implications.

Palmer faced multiple charges related to the possession of indecent images of minors, with the court revealing that these offences occurred over a span of several years, specifically between 2017 and 2020. The images in question were categorized at various levels of severity, including categories A, B, and C, indicating the disturbing nature of the material involved.

During the proceedings at Cardiff Crown Court, Palmer admitted to three counts of possessing such indecent images.
