July 2015 Paedophile jailed for multiple sexual offences A paedophile has been jailed after he was found guilty of a string of sexual offences  Robert Jason Holt, 46 of Ripon appeared at York Crown Court where he was found guilty of: Twelve counts of distributing images of children Eleven counts of making indecent images Six counts of trying to incite a female child who was aged under 13 into sexual activity The court was told that the girl had been affected by the contact with Holt. He groomed the young girl online using sexually explicit chat. He also sent pictures of his manhood to you which disgusted her. Holt had also downloaded hundred’s of indecent images of children. He progressed to seeking out further images, which led him to an online forum used by other paedophile’s for sharing or trading vile images and movies involving the sexual abuse of children. The judge sentenced Holt to three years and six months – of which he must serve half in custody and half on license He was told that he must register as a sex offender for an indefinite period.
