PERVERT ADMITTED HE TRIED TO MEET A “12-YEAR-OLD” GIRL WITH THE INTENTION OF HAVING SEX
At Paisley Sheriff Court, Robert Gallacher confessed to communicating online with someone he believed was a 12-year-old girl named ‘Molly.’ However, the individual was an undercover police officer, part of a lawful investigation aimed at gathering evidence against individuals engaged in illegal online activity.Between May 27 and June 18, 2025, Gallacher, who lives on Kilmaurs Road in Kilmarnock, exchanged numerous sexually explicit messages with ‘Molly.’ During this time, he asked her to send explicit photographs, inquired about her sexual history, made comments about her attractiveness, and discussed the possibility of engaging in sexual acts.
On June 19, 2025, in Paisley’s Ferguslie Park Avenue, Gallacher made an attempt to meet ‘Molly’ with the apparent intent of committing unlawful sexual acts.
He advised her to skip school and meet him, suggesting they drive to a secluded area.
He described his red Audi S3’s large rear seat, and expressed a desire for her to perform oral sex followed by sex.
The defence solicitor requested the preparation of background and social work reports.
The court, presided over by Sheriff Bruce Erroch KC, decided to adjourn sentencing to review these reports and carry out an assessment for a possible restriction of liberty order.
Gallacher has been registered as a sex offender and is due to appear for sentencing next month.
