ROBERT BILLSON OF BOURNEMOUTH SENTENCED FOR CHILD PORNOGRAPHY OFFENSES IN LIVERPOOL
A 63-year-old man named Robert Billson, residing on Draycott Road in Bournemouth, has narrowly avoided immediate imprisonment after admitting to possessing extreme pornographic images of children.Billson appeared before Liverpool Crown Court, where he pleaded guilty to multiple charges.
He admitted to two counts of possessing extreme pornographic images of children and one count of possessing prohibited images of children.
Additionally, he confessed to making three indecent photographs or pseudo-photographs of a child, and possessing one indecent photograph or pseudo-photograph of a child.
Described as a businessman, Billson was sentenced to 18 months in prison, but the sentence was suspended for two years.
The court also imposed a 60-day rehabilitation requirement and a two-month curfew from 7 pm to 6 am at his Bournemouth address.
A forfeiture and destruction order was issued for devices linked to the offenses.
Furthermore, Billson was subject to a 10-year Sexual Harm Prevention Order and ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £140.
